<p>A modular tile and modular tile system (20). The modular tile (20) includes a base structure (22) having a generally horizontal portion. Floor support members (26) are positioned on a bottom surface of the generally horizontal portion. Integral upper column members (26) extend above the horizontal portion of the modular tile. A cover (24) is supported by the upper column members (26) a distance above the horizontal portion thereby creating a chamber between the horizontal portion and the cover (24).
