The mounting insert for a roller bearing has an axially split ring (8) with a non-planar outer contour which fits between the bearing outer race (7) and the support (2). The ring can have lips to retain the bearing. The ring is mounted within an outer elastomeric ring formed between the ring and support by vulcanization. |
