摘要

Modified biodegradable microspheres for encapsulation of a drug made up of a biodegradable polymer and a basic excipient are provided. Also provided are methods of improving the release profile of a drug and delivering a drug to a patient via encapsulation of the drug within these modified biodegradable microspheres.
