The invention concerns a method for assembling metal parts without any risk of their being melted, when assembled at high temperature. It consists in using as filler material a powder whereof the melting point is not less than the melting point of the material from which the parts are made, when they are of similar type, or whereof the melting point is not less than that of the part whereof the melting temperature is the lowest when the parts are of different types. The assembly is induction-heated, the powder being melted without melting the parts by virtue of a temperature higher than that of the parts. The invention is useful for assembling any metallic parts made of metals or metal alloys and particularly useful for assembling parts of the same type using a powder of the same material.
