The turbulence generator for a stock inlet, at a papermaking or cardboard prodn. machine, has an assembly of tubular channels where the layout of their entries differs from the layout of their outlets. The flow channels (K) are arranged in rows across the machine width forming vertical columns. The interval (t1) is not constant along the center lines of two adjacent channels (K). The interval (t1) between the channel outlets is larger than at the entries, or vice versa. The channels (K) follow a curved path or a bent path, and are out-of-round at the mixing tube, and are flattened on at least one side at the mixing tube zone. At least two neighboring channels (K) in a row are offset by a channel interval at the entry end. The channel outlet intervals are constant in at least one row. The intervals between the channel entries and outlets, within at least one row, differ at the entry and exit sides from the center row section between them. The start and end zones are 20% of a row width, and pref. 5%. The channels (K) have a stepped increase in their dia., at least partially and in the suspension flow direction. The channels (K) in one row have a unified length at the outlet end which differs from the other channels in other rows, and they deliver a unified suspension vol. flow which differs from the other channels in other rows, and their suspension flows are at a unified flow speed which differs from the other channels in other rows. The channels in at least one row have a unified hydraulic dia. which differs from the other channels in other rows. The rows have a different interval at their outlet openings.
