摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent double display even when the number of picture elements of display data to be inputted is less than the number of display picture elements of a liquid crystal display panel. SOLUTION: This liquid crystal display device includes a counter 1 for counting the number of picture elements (n), a lateral picture element constant generating circuit 5 for generating a picture element constant (m), a subtracting circuit 6 for operating (n-m), and a clock double speed circuit 8. When m/n is divisible and the quotient is (a) (a natural number of 2 or more) in converting into (m) (m>n) by a clock signal, picture element data together with a clock signal a×CL which is speeded (a)-times are transferred to a drain driver. When m/n is not divisible, the clock signal inputted from a main computer and the picture element data are transferred to the drain driver, and the clock signal a×CL for (m-n) picture elements which is speeded (a)-times is transferred to the drain driver. When m/n is not divisible and a×n<m is satisfied, the clock signal inputted from the main computer and speeded (a)-times and block display data are transferred to the drain driver.
