PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily discharge intruded soil outside without storing it inside by forming an annular inclined face expanded toward the stationary part side in a labyrinth wall on the rotary part side in a labyrinth seal formed between opposite wall faces between the stationary part and the rotary part. SOLUTION: A labyrinth seal 15 suitably used for a final reduction gear etc., for a construction machine is installed between a housing case 2 as a stationary part and a hub 9 as a rotary part and a labyrinth seal 15 formed outside a floating seal 14 prevent soil from intruded inside. The labyrinth seal 15 is provided with two perpendicular parts 16, 17 perpendicular to the axis of the hub 9 and an inclined part 18 inclined by an angleθ. A centrifugal force acts on the intruded soil by the rotation of the hub 9 so that the soil is made to move outward along the inclined face 18a so as to be discharged to the outside via the outer perpendicular parts 16, 17.
