PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conveniently select and retrieve desired contents. SOLUTION: A transmitter 1 generates a key frame respectively based on a 'basic attribute' and a 'keyword' relating to the attribute and contents of various contents 5. Then the transmitter 1 gives each generated key frame to each of the contents 5 and transmits the resulting contents. A receiver 3 receives each of the contents 5', separates each key frame from them and references a 'viewer attribute' and a 'retrieval keyword' relating to each key frame and a stored viewer. Then the receiver selects contents to be displayed based on them. In the case of selecting a plurality of contents, the 'viewer attribute' is extracted by using a logical expression (e.g. AND, OR, EXOR) or the like and the contents are narrowed based on them.
