Coated airbags, coating material and coating process

Aqueous emulsions based on addition-crosslinked silicone systems, containing carbon black as a further component. Aqueous emulsions comprising: (1) organo-polysiloxanes with aliphatic multiple bonds in terminal silicon-carbon linked groups; (2) organopolysiloxanes with at least 3 Si-linked hydrogen atoms; (3) a hydro-silylation catalyst; (4) organic silicon compounds suitable for use as coupling agents; (5) silicone resins; (6) emulsifier; (7) water; and (8) carbon black. Independent claims are also included for: (a) A process for the production of aqueous emulsions as described above, involving the emulsification of components 1-7; (b) vulcanized products obtained by heating these emulsions; (c) a process for coating textile substrates by treating the textile with an emulsion as above, then vulcanizing and drying; (d) coated textile substrates obtained by this process, especially coated airbag material.
