In the present invention there is disclosed a butter with a continuous aqueous phase that contains 0.1 to 20 percent by weight fat forming so emulsion of the type water-oil-water containing in its external phase hydrolyzed starch with DE ranging from 1 to 6 at concentration above critical gel-forming concentration thereof, whereby its maximum stress on the stress/deformation curve is at the deformation ranging from 0.01 to 1, with maximum stress at this deformation being in the range of 0.1 to 100 kPa and with plastic stress to maximum stress ratio ranging from 0.1 to 1.
