PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeding system for an image forming device properly deciding an unrecorded surface of a used paper formed with an image on one side and feeding the paper to an image forming part. SOLUTION: In an image forming device 100, a detection part 105 detects whether the upper surface (an A surface) of a used paper 103 fed from a paper feeding tray 104 on which the plural used papers 103 are placed is an image- unformed surface or an image-formed surface. On the basis of the detection result, the used paper 103 is directly fed to a first storage part 107, or is inverted in an inversion part 109 and fed to a second storage part 108. Thus, the used papers 103 are sequentially placed on the first storage part 107 and the second storage part 108 with the image-unformed surfaces (white surfaces) up. The used papers 103 are selectively sequentially fed to an image forming part 102 from the first storage part 107 and the second storage part 108 in the order of arrival, and an image is formed on the image-unformed surface of the used paper 103 in the image forming part 102.
