<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum brake with little fluctuations of braking force due to the fluctuations in the coefficient of friction. SOLUTION: When a lever 5 and an anchor lever 9 are connected by a strut 10, and a secondary shoe 3 is moved so as to be rolled in with the rotation of a drum 1 based on the driving force of a motor 14, the secondary shoe 3 is prevented from being loaded against the direction of movement. Thus, the driving force of the motor can be divided into a force for moving a primary shoe 2 and a force for applying loads to the secondary shoe 3. By dividing the driving force of the motor in this manner, fluctuations in the force for moving the primary shoe 2 can be reduced by an amount equivalent to divided force, in relation to the fluctuations of the driving force of the motor, and the fluctuations of braking force with the fluctuations in the coefficient of friction can be reduced.</p> |
