PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exhibit superior handling performance and uniform wear performance. SOLUTION: In this pneumatic tire, a carcass comprises one carcass ply 8 along a side wall part SWO on the vehicle outer side and one carcass ply 10 along a side wall part SWI on the vehicle inner side. The carcass ply 10 comprises an inner ply piece part 10A from one end part P2 lapped and locked on one end part P1 of the carcass ply 8 to a bead core 6 on the vehicle inner side, and an outer ply piece part 10B folded back around the bead core 6 then rolled up to the other end part P3 disposed in a region of the vehicle inner side end of a braker layer 5. The braker layer 5, the carcass ply 8, the inner ply piece part 10A and the outer ply piece part 10B overlap each other to form an overlap part. |
