PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a showcase capable of leveling the temperature in a room by promoting circulation of air in the room and an air-conditioning system including the showcase capable of leveling the temperature in the room at a low cost by combining a cassette type air-conditioner with an air outlet and an air intake in the same unit and using the showcase and the air-conditioner interlocked with each other. SOLUTION: This showcase with shelves for displaying articles has a box- shaped base part 2 at the bottom. An air intake 3 for taking air and an air outlet 5 for blowing off air are formed in the box-shaped base part 2. The air intake 3 and the air outlet 5 are made to communicate with each other to form a ventilation duct horizontally, and a fan is attached in the ventilation duct.
