PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a drainage structure preventing the occurrence of flowing of water to a roadside or the collapse of a surface layer in a water permeable pavement. SOLUTION: A ridge 15 is combined with a roadway side apron 16 projected to one side of the lower side of the ridge 15, a drainage slope is provided to the upper surface of the roadway side apron 16, a drain 22 extending to the direction parallel to the ridge 15, and intakes 23 and 24 connected to the drain 22 are opened in the side on a sidewalk side of the ridge and/or the side 19 of an apron in positions higher than the drains 23 and 24. A block having a nonsymmetrical hat-shaped cross section equipped with a sidewalk side apron combined with the lower part of the ridge 15 can also adopt the same structure. The intakes 23 and 24 are positioned at the boundary between a water permeable layer and a non-permeable layer of the road. By the constitution, drainage structure preventing the occurrence of flowing of water in the surface of road can be constructed by only installing a traffic segregation block between a sidewalk and a roadway.
