PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily fix a board lower end section without backlash by inserting the board lower end section into a groove from an upper opening, and pressing and fixing it from the lateral direction. SOLUTION: A board lower end section fixing member 1 has an outer flange 4 welded to the outside face of a vehicle frame 3 and an inner flange 5 welded to the inside face. The lower section 4a of the outer flange 4 is welded to the outside face of the vehicle frame 3, the intermediate section 4b is curved outward, and the inside face of the upper section 4c is located slightly on the outside than the inside face of the lower section 4a. The outside face of the vertical side 5a of the inner flange 5 is welded to the inside face of the vehicle frame 3, the horizontal side 5b supports a floor member 6, and the tip section 5c of the vertical side 5a is bent diagonally upward to the outside, thereby an upper opening 7 and a groove 8 are formed. When the lower end section 3a of a board 2 is inserted into the groove 8 from the upper opening 7 and the lower end face is supported on a support face 8a, the inside face abuts on the tip section 5c of the vertical side 5a of the inner flange 5 and is pressed.
