PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crawler tensioning device of a crawler type traveling device capable of tensely supporting a crawler by an adjuster cylinder and easily performing a grease discharging operation of the adjuster cylinder. SOLUTION: A crawler traveling device is formed so that a crawler 5 is wound on a drive wheel 4 and a driven wheel 4a, the driven wheel 4a is tensed by a crawler tensioning mechanism 5a comprising an adjuster cylinder 6 and a spring 7 supported by a mounting plate 30 on the drive wheel 4 side inside a traveling frame 3, and a fill valve 8 to fill and exhaust grease is installed on the base part side of the adjuster cylinder 6. Also, a grease exhausting hole 35 communicating with a grease exhaust port of the fill valve 8 is provided in the mounting plate 30, and groove-shaped grease guide routes 36 to allow grease, to be exhausted to a grease exhaust hole 35, to guide to the other side are formed communicating with each other.
