摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of a 'bored' opening at a corner section when a segment is assembled by engaging surfaces in the circumferential direction and in the axial direction by a recessed section and a projecting section respectively by installing buried metal fittings to the end sections of surfaces on the face side of an adjacent segment respectively and connecting these buried metal fittings. SOLUTION: In the connecting structure of the segment for the shield tunnel, in which joint surfaces in the circumferential direction and the axial direction of the segments are connected by the engagement of a recessed section and a projecting section, or the segment for the shield tunnel having connecting surfaces having flat structure, buried metal fittings 10, 20 are mounted at opposite positions on the joint surfaces B on the face sides of the two adjacent segments S1, S2 respectively. The 'bored' openings of corner sections can be prevented by inserting cotters as connecting fittings when the segments S1, S2 are joined in the spaces 11, 21 of these buried metal fittings 10, 20. Since these is no metallic material exposed onto an inner circumferential surface, cutoff treatment and waterproof treatment are made unnecessary, and operating efficiency can be improved.
