PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support erecting method, in which a support for a fence is erected simply, rapidly and firmly and back-filling surplus soil need not be treated and which is advantageous in labor hygiene. SOLUTION: A block 2 in which longitudinal width and breadth or a diameter is larger than height and a guide through-hole 1 in the height direction is molded at a central section, is buried by exposing a top face 2' onto a ground surface 3, soil in a pipe 4 buried along the guide through-hole 1 is consolidated 5 and the lower end section 6' of a support 6 is inserted into a space (s) formed to the upper section of the pipe 4, and an opening between the outer circumference of the lower end section 6' and the inner circumference of the space (s) is filled with mortar 7 and mortar 7 is cured and set.
