PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tent device, in which simple spreading and housing are enabled while the selection of a habitable space can be set and which has high workability and convenience. SOLUTION: The tent device has a housing box 1, which has a base body 2 and a cover body 3 and in which the selection of 'a first cover opening posture' opened at approximately 90 deg. and 'a second cover opening posture' opened at approximately 180 deg. can be set, and a base body side tent 4 and a cover body side tent 5 constituted in a freely spreading-housing manner by foldable tent frames and tent cloth 6. The tent 4, 5 are housed in the housing box 1 in 'a cover closing posture' while a first habitable space is formed on the base body 2 side in the 'first cover opening posture', and the first habitable space on the base body 2 side and a second habitable space on the cover body 3 side are formed in 'the second cover opening posture'.
