PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of a cam follower with excellent assembly workability and with high strength, wherein the cam follower can be assembled from one direction while miniaturization of a cam mechanism can be attained. SOLUTION: In this cam follower 10, a stud 12 is fixed by a tightening bolt 16 to a driven member, this stud 12 is fitted to a fitting hole 30a of the driven member 30, also a stepped part 12e diametrically spread formed in an external periphery of the stud 12 is brought into contact with a mounting surface 30b. A tightening bolt 16 is inserted from an opposite side to a fitting end part in an insertion hole 12f provided in an axial direction of the stud 12, and a head part 16a of this tightening bolt, while stored in a recessed part 12g provided in the same end part of the stud 12, is tightened to the driven member 30. A base part 12a of the stud 12 and the fitting hole 30a are provided with tapered surfaces, after both the tapered surfaces abut on each other, the stepped part 12e and the mounting surface 30b are made to abut on each other and fixedly tightened. A plurality of these tightening bolts 16 may be used.
