PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the cooling performance of a scroll compressor by providing a cooler for cooling operating gas after compressed, allowing cooling air from a cooling fan fitted to one end of a motor, to flow thereto, and spraying water to a plurality of cooling through-holes formed at the end plates of a turning scroll. SOLUTION: When a double-shaft motor 2 is driven to actuate a compressor body 1, operating gas compressed therein is discharged via a cooler 3 and a heat pump type dryer 15. At the same time, a cooling fan 4 is rotated to suck external air into a case 20 from an intake port 16, and the compressor body 1 and double-shaft motor 2 are cooled with this air. At this time, a part of air cools the interior of the compressor body 1 via cooling holes or the like formed between the end plates of a turning scroll. At the same time, a part of operating gas cooled by an evaporator 15c of the dryer 15, and a part of drain water generated in the evaporator 15c, are sprayed to the end plates of the turning scroll from a nozzle part 55 of a water spray means 50 to cool this part.
