PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute the control of deviation in the distribution of charged material in the circumferential direction in a blast furnace with good accuracy without needing new equipment and also without the overload to a driving motor in a swing chute. SOLUTION: The swing chute is set to a target position, and after inclining to the setting angle, a seal valve and a flow rate adjusting gate are opened, restectively. The swing chute is stopped to the swing movement during the setting swing stopping time. Therefore, during this time, a part of the charged raw material in one time is charged into a position in the circumferential direction in the blast furnace corresponding to this target position. When the swing stopping time passes, since the swing chute starts the swing movement, in the period from the starting to the stopping, the residual charged raw material in the one time, is uniformly charged in the circumferential direction in the blast furnace.
