PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fishery material having high safety for environments, human bodies and fishes and shellfishes and durability and capable of preventing the attachment of aquatic organisms for a long period without requiring the coating of an antifouling coating material by including a specific thermoplastic polymer composition. SOLUTION: This fishery material is obtained by including a composition containing (A) a pyridine-triphenylborane (derivative) represented by the formula and (B) a thermoplastic polymer and regulating the component A so that the amount of the eluted component A is <=45 mg/cm3 at 25 deg.C and >=6 mg/cm3 at 15 deg.C in artificial seawater. A halogen-substituted pyridine-triphenylborane such as 3-bromopyridine-triphenylborane, a lower alkyl-substituted pyridine- triphenylborane, etc., such as 4-ethyl-triphenylborane are cited as the derivative in the component A. A polyester, etc., comprising a polyhexamethylene terephthalate composed of terephthalic acid and 1,6-hexamethanediol as a basic unit is preferred as the component B.
