PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a molded article excellent in quality by spraying a resin compsn. and a fiber reinforcing material on a mold by a spray-up machine, and further spraying a powder of the fiber reinforcing material thereon to markedly suppress the generation of air bubles or voids in a layer. SOLUTION: As a resin compsn., an unsaturated polyester resin compsn., a vinyl ester resin compsn. or the like are used but the unsaturated polyester resin compsn. is especially pref. A fiber reinforcing material is pref. sprayed in an amt. of 10 to 40 pts.wt. per 60 to 90 pts.wt. of the resin compsn. and a powder of the fiber reinforcing material (herein, the total amt. of the resin compsn., the fiber reinforcing material and the powder of the reinforcing material is 100 pts.wt.) from a viewpoint of the strength and moldability of a molded article and further pref. sprayed in an amt. of 15 to 35 pts.wt. The resin compsn. and the fiber reinforcing material are pref. sprayed on a mold in a discharge amt. of 2 to 15 kg/min.
