PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automate the setting of bead jig and welding between both widths of a hanging plate and a hardware at the time of attaching the hanging plate to a boiler panel. SOLUTION: This device is a welding device for executing welding so that intersection lines between the hardwares having a certain width which are arranged so as to intersect at a certain interval in the lower part of the hanging plate 2 and the hanging plate 2 as a welding line 4 and, a truck 6 which travels on the hanging plate 2 while both width ends of the hanging plate 2 are used as a guide, is mounted with a bead jig setting device 7 for setting cooling type bead jigs 74 made of copper for forming weld bead at the front end and rear end of the weld line 4, a torch driving device 8 for making welding operation execute by moving a torch 9 on the welding line 4 on which the bead jig 74 is set and a welding position detecting sensor 32 for detecting the position of the weld line 4. The controller for stopping the truck 6 when the position of the weld line 4 is detected with the welding position detecting sensor 32, setting the bead jig 74 with the bead jig setting device 7 and making the welding motion execute by moving the torch 9 with the torch driving device 8 is included.
