<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic game system capable of constituting a more interesting game by varying the rules of a board game such as gomoku and further easily dealing with various rule variations by using an electronic device such as computer. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a display device for displaying a board 23 constituted by arranging a plurality of blocks 22 composed of a plurality of squares 21 in the shape of a grid, an input means for arranging a piece on the square 21, an alarm means for judging whether the arrangement of the piece violates a prescribed rule or not and raising an alarm in the case of violation, a block state determining means for determining a block state after a change when the state of the block including the square or which the piece is placed is changed by the arrangement of the piece and a block continuation detecting means for detecting that the prescribed number of blocks in the same state or similar state are continuously arranged longitudinally, laterally or obliquely.</p> |
