PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a device of a low cost/light weight and transportable to any place by assembling a gear and a screw shaft to a thrust bearing mounted on a side plate, mounting a push plate with an embedded nut, rotating the screw shaft with a motor through the gear, driving the push plate left/right with the screw shaft and crushing a can between the push plate and the side plate. SOLUTION: Thrust bearings 3 are mounted to side plates 10, 11. Screw shafts 6, 7 are mounted to the thrust bearings 3. Gears 4, 5 are mounted to the screw shafts 6, 7 so as to engage with the gears 2 mounted on a motor 1. Nuts 8 are embedded into a push plate 8, the nuts 8 are screwed into the screw shafts 6, 7. The motor 1 is rotated and then the screw shafts 6, 7 are rotated through the gears 2, 4, 5, the push plate 9 is moved left/right through the nut 8, and a can is crushed between the push plate 9 and the side plates 10, 11. When the push plate 9 abuts on a limit switch 16, the motor 1 is reversed.
