PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movable type work fixing device capable of changing the direction of various surfaces of a work in fixed condition simply to a direction allowing easy alignment and enhancing the production efficiency by facilitating attachment of any member to the work or its processing. SOLUTION: A movable type work fixing device is composed of a base 12, a set of columnar members 14 and 16 installed upright on the base 12 in such a way as parallel with each other, a revolving table 18 borne by the columnar members 14 and 16, a swinging mechanism 20 swinging the revolving table 18 and capable of locating for fixation, and a turntable 24 for work fixation borne by the revolving table 18 rotatably and fitted with clamping mechanisms 22a-22d for fixation of the work. Any of various surfaces of each work can be exposed to the direction allowing easy alignment by swinging the table 18 and rotating the turntable 24.
