PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of surely providing a specified composite part of a metal-based composite material in a short time and at an arbitrary degree. SOLUTION: The Lorentz force of a molten portion of a metal matrix 10 in a mold 11 is controlled by regulating the high frequency current flowing in a high frequency coil 14 provided around the mold 11 while controlling the solidifying mode of the molten metal matrix 10 in the mold 11 by blowing a flow rate regulated cooling gas from the periphery of the mold 11 in which the molten metal matrix 10 including second-phase particles is placed. The distribution of the second-phase particles in the metal matrix 10 is controlled.
