PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the moving speed of a moving body variable with simple constitution by changing a track of a guide device for guiding the movement of a rope body, from a linear state into a curved state near the reversing point of the moving body in constitution of circulating and moving a plurality of moving bodies continuously by an endless rope body. SOLUTION: A moving body such as a moving footpath formed by connecting a large number of pallets 30 endlessly has engaging parts such as claws provided every specified space at a rope body (a wire rope) 20 endlessly wound on a driving sheave and a driven sheave rotatably supported to both ends of the moving footpath, and an engaging means such as a pin connected to each engaging part is fitted movably in an oblong hole formed at the back face of each pallet 30. A guide device 40 such as a guide rail for guiding the rope body 20 is provided, and in this case, the guide device 40 is formed to change from a linear state into a curved state near getting-on/off ports. The moving speed of the rope body 20 is thereby made relatively slow to make getting-on/off safe.
