摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mutually contacting member device such as a roller bearing having crowing shape, which is capable of allowing damage to which material is subjected, to be uniformly distributed in the neighborhood of the contact surface in the longitudinal direction of a contact area, and substantially giving maximum static or dynamic load capacity. SOLUTION: In a roller bearing as a mutually contacting member device, the change in the contact surface in the longitudinal direction is set in order for a maximum value of equivalent stressesΣE not to distribute in the area of the end and the surface in the longitudinal direction (Y direction) of the contact surface by using a finite width cylinder and a semi-infinit body as dynamical models. Thus, distribution of equivalent stresses in the longitudinal direction (Y direction) uniformizes, and damage to which materials subjected in the neiborhood of the contact surface in the longitudinal direction is uniformly distributed.
