PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat transfer image receiving sheet which shows superb portability, is easy to handle and store, and further shows high quality touch and appearance. SOLUTION: The heat transfer image receiving sheet 1 comprises at least a dye receptive layer 5 and a base material 6 and the material 6 is structure of films 3, 4 laminated on both sides of paper 2. In addition, the film 3 having microvoids internally is laminated on one of the faces of the paper 2 and has the dye receptive layer 5 formed on the surface, and a previously printed transparent film 4 is laminated on the other face of the paper 2. Further, the basis weight of the paper 2 is preferably 170-250 g/m2 and the rigidity of the entire constitution of the image receiving sheet 1 is preferably restricted to the level of 2,500-4,000 mg. Thus it is possible to obtain the heat transfer image receiving sheet 1 which shows superb portability, is easy to handle and store, and further shows high quality touch and appearance. |
