<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid inadvertently giving a pain to a patient by easily recognizing the large loop state of an insertion part at the time of such a state. SOLUTION: In this endoscope, a wire 13 whose tip is fixed near the tip of an elastic part 6 and a coil 14 whose tip is fixed near the tip of the wire 13 and whose rear end is regulated concerning its moving backward by a coil stopper 16 are put through the inside of the elastic part 6. The wire 13 extended backward from the rear end of the coil 14 passes through the groove part 20a of a drawing member 20 moving back and forth by the rotating operation of a hardness adjusting knob 26 provided near the front end of an operation part 3. A wire stopper 18 is fitted at a rear position at a distance L from the member 20 to visually recognize hardness by the position of a mark member 19 at the rear end of the wire 13. In addition, when the part 6 is looped so that the wire 13 may move a distance L or longer than it, a compressing force is acted on the coil 14 to increase the power for operating the knob 26 to make it difficult to operate to inadvertently further harden the wire at the time of a large loop quantity.</p> |
