PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an imide (amide) resin which is solvent-soluble, can be developed with a dil, aqueous alkali solution, and is excellent in energy ray curabilty and heat resistance by reacting an at least trifunctional aromatic carboxylic acid with a polyisocyanate compound and a compound having a polymerizable double bond and an OH group and/or an epoxy group. SOLUTION: An at least trifunctional aromatic carboxylic acid (anhydride) (e.g. trimellitic anhydride), a polyisocyanate compound (e.g. isophorone diisocyanate), and a compound having at least one polymerizable double bond, preferably at least one (meth)acryloyl group, and an OH group (or an epoxy group) (e.g. pentaerythritol triacrylate) are reacted, Preferably, the resulting resin has an acid value of 10-300 mgKOH/g and a wt. average mol.wt. of 500-50,000. The resin and an organic solvent (a reactive diluent) are compounded to give an energy-ray-curable resin composition. |
