PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To machine machined parts at a low cost and in a short time by disposing single purpose machine tools for conducting forward and backward operation only, which are separated to bear one process, and connecting the single purpose machine tools to each other by a work transport device. SOLUTION: The direction of a work W3 having a stepped part is reversed by a work transport device, and fixed to a chuck 9 of a single purpose machine tool having two cutting tools 7, 8. Two cutting tools 7, 8 are moved forward and backward to the work W3 driven in rotation, thereby forming a work W4 having a recessed part. The work W4 having a recessed part is fixed to a chuck 12 of a single purpose machine tool having two cutting tools 10, 11 by a work transport device. Two cutting tools 10, 11 are moved forward and backward to the work W4 driven in rotation to form a work W5 having the shape of an inner cylindrical part.
