PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of fixing an attaching member and a structure thereof with a high fixing strength and with a high degree of reliability, which can simply and inexpensively fix the attaching member, and which can exhibit a high fixing strength and a high degree of reliability. SOLUTION: A bolt 1 has a thread part 2, a shoulder part 3 and a head part 4. After the bolt 1 is inserted through holes 7, 8 in a molding composed of a first member 11 and a second member 12, and the distal end of a die member A2 is pressed onto a shoulder part 3 which is therefore ground by the die member A2 so as to form a fixing piece 5 having a thickness(t) and extending around the entire periphery of the shoulder part 3. Thus, by cutting, bending and clamping (pressing) the shoulder part 3 on the thread part 2 side, the molding 10 is clamped between the head part 4 and the fixing piece 5 so that the bolt 1 can be fixed to the molding 1.
