PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily develop a columnar consolidation foundation having a sufficient strength and a large extent in lateral direction. SOLUTION: This apparatus is supported by a work machine 2 in a rising and falling manner and has a drive shaft 4 having a rotary drive portion 3 at a base end portion, a carrying section 6 installed so as to carry sediment such as excavated earth along the drive shaft 4, and a consolidation cam 8 having at least two cam surfaces 7, 7 for consolidation by pushing sediment from the carrying section 6 by reverse rotation permitting the excavation of ground G by normal rotation to the outer side of the excavated hole into diameter direction.
