PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the freedom degree for the in-line treatment mode of a hot rolled wire by providing a regulation-cooling part of a wide ring-like wire from the water cooling to the gradual cooling continuous to a heat treatment part of the coil-like wire. SOLUTION: A first regulation cooling zone switchable to either line of water-cooling, air-cooling and natural cooling, or gradual cooling and heat insulation is provided on a rear surface of a winding device of a hot-rolled wire, a second regulation cooling zone switchable to either line of air-cooling and natural-cooling or gradual-cooling and heat insulation is arranged continuous to the first regulation cooling zone, a carrying means to carry a wire ring and a first converging means to converge the wire ring are provided in a switchable manner at a boundary part between the first and second regulation cooling zones, a second converging means is provided on a rear part of the second regulation cooling zone, and a heat treatment means to gradually cool or beat the wire coil converged by the first converging means is continuously provided on the installation position of the first converging means.
