PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a kitchen sink that makes its sink part effectively usable, makes the most of space, cleans well, ensures a large sink strainer space, and undergoes less trouble with its detergent container. SOLUTION: The kitchen sink comprises a cabinet part 1, a counter part 2 delimited flush with the top of the cabinet part 1, and a sink part 3 forming a recess in the counter part 2 and having a sinkhole 3a. The sink part 3 has first horizontally extending slide rail portions 4 along its opposite lower ends. An open-top sub sink part 5 with a plurality of partitions is disposed for horizontal movement on the first slide rail portions 4. The sink portion 3 further has second horizontally extending slide rail portions 6 along its opposite upper ends. A cover part for covering the sub sink part 5 is disposed for horizontal movement on the second slide rail portions 6.
