PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide adjustable shelf-height shelving that allows easy adjustments to the shelf pitch such that it is smaller than the pitch of locking holes cut in the posts and that improves the storage efficiency. SOLUTION: A plurality of coupling rails 6 are extended between adjoining posts at vertically adjusted intervals, so that two of them at the same level form a shelf. Each post has a plurality of locking holes cut at vertically constant pitches (p). Each coupling rail 6 is shaped vertically symmetrically, and is fixedly mounted at ends with locking fittings 15 placed in symmetric relation along the posts. Each locking fitting 15 has an upper-lower pair of pins 16 interspaced by an integral multiple of the pitch (p) and projected to fit into the locking holes in the post. Each coupling rail 6 is fastened to the right and left locking fittings 15 with its middle in height upwardly out of line with the middle point between the upper and lower pins 16 by quarter the pitch (p). Installing the coupling rails 6 upside down changes the shelf height at half the pitch (p).
