PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner that prevents reliably temperature from rising in a circuit element whose calorific value is high. SOLUTION: A rectification plate 60 formed of a material whose thermal conductivity is high and in the outside periphery of which a flat mounting face 66 (mounting portion) is formed is provided between a dust collecting chamber 3 and a blower chamber 4 of a body case 2 having the dust collecting chamber 3 provided with a dust collector 30 and the blower chamber 4 storing an electric blower 40 provided downstream the dust collecting chamber 3, a heating element 73 (circuit element having a high calorific value) out of circuit elements of a control circuit is arranged in the mounting face 66, heat from the heating element 73 is cooled effectively through the rectification plate 60, and a rise in the temperature of the heating element 73 is prevented reliably.
