PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability and reliability by composing a fuel filter device of a filter head made of an aluminum alloy and a case made of transparent resin and having a bowl part, and providing with a plurality of interior ribs on an inside face of the case and with a large number of outer ribs on an outside face of the case. SOLUTION: A filter head 22 formed out of an aluminum alloy is formed being provided with a hollow cylinder part 14 for accommodating the upper part of a filter element 12; a fuel inlet 18 communicating with an inlet chamber 16 formed surrounding the outer periphery of the filter element 12; and a fuel outlet 20 for supplying fuel passing the filter element 12, to a fuel supply system. An external thread part 40 provided at the upper end outer face of a hollow cylinder part 26 of a case 24 made of transparent resin is thread-engaged with an internal thread part provided at the inside face of a lower end opening of the hollow cylinder part 14. A plurality of inner ribs 32 are provided at the inside face of a bowl part 28 of the case 24, and a large number of outer ribs 54 are disposed at the outside face below a flange part 50 of the case 24.
