PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare an adhesive tape for moisture proof which is used for the sealing construction of root parts of pillars, beams, pipes, or the like, protruding a floor which are mainly located in the vicinity of watery places such as a water supply system when constructing a house, or the like. SOLUTION: This adhesive tape for moisture proof features that a pressure sensitive layer 5 and a release liner 3 are superimposed on one surface of a flexible substrate foam, parallel notches 6 are formed at a defined interval in the direction perpendicular to the flow direction of the tape in one side margin of the tape and a splitting 7 is formed parallel to the flow direction at the central part in the cross direction of the release liner 3.
