PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a solid slag-making agent restraining the content of fluoride to little by mixing calcium compound, if necessary, silicon compound and further, as the need arises, binder into aluminum, slag, adding suitable quantity of water, forming and solidifying. SOLUTION: The calcium compound as the adding material is desirable to be powdery material of calcium oxide, calcium hydroxide, calcium carbonate, calcium chloride (may be used as hydrate), etc., and this grain size is <=1 mm, and desirably the compound contains >=60% of <=0.1 mm size grain. The silicon compound as the adding material is desirable to be powdery material of metallic silicon, ferro-silicon, silicon carbide, silicon dioxide (may be used as hydrate), etc., and the grain size is <=1 mm, and desirably, the compound contains >=80% of <=0.1 mm size grain. Blending ratio is regulated to 1 to <30 wt.% calcium compound, 1 to <30 wt.% silicon compound and the balance aluminum slag, and the binder is regulated to max. 5 wt.%.
