PRODUCTION OF FLUOROCARBON POLYMER PARTICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain uniform polymer particles easily in good yields by bringing an emulsion-polymerized polymer latex into contact with an extracting solvent comprising a fluoro solvent having a specified boiling point to separate an unreacted monomer from the latex, and decreasing the extracting solvent to a specified amount or lower to coagulate the latex into polymer particles. SOLUTION: A polymer latex obtained by emulsion-polymerizing a fluorocarbon monomer is brought into contact with an extracting solvent comprising a fluoro solvent having a boiling point of 10-250 deg.C to separate an unreacted monomer from the latex, and the solvent in the latex is decreased to 10% or below to coagulate the latex into polymer particles.
