PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermosetting epoxy resin composition which exhibits a good workability in kneading and curing and is excellent in mechanical and electrical properties and heat resistance by incorporating a monoacryldiglycidyl isocyanurate compound and an epoxy resin curing agent or by incorporating a monoacryldiglycidyl isocyanurate compound, an epoxy resin, and an epoxy resin curing agent into the same. SOLUTION: This composition contains, as essential ingredients, (A) a monoacryldiglycidyl isocyanurate represented by the formula (wherein R1 and R2 are each H or lower alkyl) and (B) an epoxy resin curing agent. When ingredient B is an amine curing agent, it is used in an amount of 1-10 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. ingredient A; when ingredient B is an acid anhydride curing agent, it is used in an equivalent amount. When the composition contains an epoxy resin (C) in addition to ingredients A and B, the wt. ratio of ingredient A to ingredient C is preferably (80:20)-(20:80).
