The invention concerns an electric iron comprising a heating soleplate (5), a thermostatic switch (9) controlling the soleplate temperature and adjustable at a set temperature selected by a manual control member (10), means (12) for measuring the soleplate real temperature, and means (15) for analysing the soleplate measured temperature relative to the selected set temperature. The invention is characterised in the analysing means (15) comprise means (19) for producing a series of visual indications (F1-F7) which are each an image at a given time of the measured soleplate temperature and which are produced until the selected set temperature is achieved. |
