<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect the front and side parts of an occupant by one bag in an air bag device for protecting the occupant, which deploys by air fed at the time of collision. SOLUTION: In this device, a gas feeding pipe 6 is fixed to the seat back 3 of a seat 1, gas generated by an inflator 5 in automotive collision, is fed into the gas feeding pipe 6 so as to be fed into a bag 7 mounted on the gas feeding pipe 6, so that the bag 7 deploys in such a way that the front and rear side portions of an occupant P is surrounded by the bag.</p> |
