PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cut the quantity of a paper raw material used and eliminate a wasteful consumption of the raw material by forming coarse raw material portions whose raw material density is lowered at both edges of a paper strip. SOLUTION: A toilet roll paper A is made by winding a paper strip of a fixed width around a paper core 2, and coarse raw material portions whose raw material density is lowered are formed at both edges of the paper strip 1. In this case, the middle portion 10 of the paper strip 1 has a similar raw material density to ordinary toilet roll paper, whereby the quantity of the raw material can be cut by the quantity equivalent to the coarseness of the raw material portion 3, and as the width of the paper strip 1 is not reduced, it can be used without concern from the sanitary point of view. |
